FWO Junior Postdoctoral Fellow, KU Leuven

My research mostly circles around the Platonic tradition, with an emphasis on notions such as tradition, innovation, and the role of authorities. I am interested in metaphysical, epistemological, and hermeneutical questions, as well as in their relation to the practical dimensions of philosophy in antiquity (and beyond, especially in the Islamic world).

In the past, I served as a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Heidelberg (2023–24), earned my PhD from KU Leuven (2020–24), and conducted research at the University of Cambridge (2022–23). I hold an MA in Philosophy (2019) and a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies (2017), both from the University of Heidelberg.
